The CRRF Welcomes Isabela Simon
Isabela Simon is an experienced and accomplished professional with over 25 years of experience in business operations, finance and human resource management. She is a versatile and innovative administrator having developed and implemented effective structures and processes in new and established non-for-profit health and educational organizations.
Isabela brings expertise in effective and efficient management of operational, financial and human resources, development, re-engineering and ongoing review of business strategy, processes, policies and procedures, and support and promotion of anti-racist policies, training and development. She is committed to promoting respect for diversity and support for equity and belonging in the workplace and has advocated for meaningful change and organizational responsibility to addressing systemic racism in their structures, practices and processes. She has worked hard to develop processes and structures that address bias and discrimination within operational practices.
Isabela holds Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Work & Labour Studies minor, Diploma in Human Resources Management and Diploma in Management Studies from McMaster University. She holds a Certificate in Effective Strategy & Critical Thinking and Certificate in Effective Management of People from University of Toronto.
Isabela has worked in senior administrative roles at the Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre, United Church of Canada, McMaster University and University of Toronto Mississauga. She is looking forward to engaging her knowledge and diverse lived experience in making a difference in her new position as Director of Operations at CRRF.
