Bonjour Chai Live! A live podcast recording in partnership with The Canadian Race Relations Foundation

In honour of Jewish Heritage Month, the CRRF in partnership with the JLL are collaborating on an event entitled “Bonjour Chai Live! A live podcast recording in partnership with The Canadian Race Relations Foundation.” It will offer the sharing’s of prominent personalities on their experiences of defining their identity as a minority within a minority group, the importance of meaningful and genuine representation needed in the arts/media industry and methods for working together to make systemic changes in this space.

The first part of the podcast will feature a special guest focusing on the topic of identity, particularly the place of Sephardim as a minority within a minority. The second part of the podcast will feature a fireside chat between Avi Finegold (Founder, Jewish Learning Lab), Ilana Zackon (multidisciplinary performer, writer, and creator), and David Sklar (performer, writer, educator) where they will discuss the idea of Jewish identities in the arts and media.
