CRRF supports a new civic internship in the City of Saskatoon

The Canadian Race Relations Foundation is proud to support a new Civic Internship Program in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This unique leadership development internship has been designed to provide mentorship, learning, and career-building opportunities for participants from equity-deserving communities.

The program will cultivate the next generation of community leaders and public servants by fostering civic engagement skills and providing invaluable hands-on experience within the City of Saskatoon’s governance.

Through this program, fellows will have the opportunity to work directly with the Mayor, city councillors, and senior administrative leaders, gaining insights into the inner workings of municipal governance.

Opportunities like this create a ripple effect. They catalyze change and advance equity across policies, institutions, and strengthen our social fabric. We welcome the next generation of change-makers to usher Canada’s cities into a new era of success.

 The City of Saskatoon’s Civic Internship Program is in partnership with the Saskatchewan Intercultural Association, the Graham Mitchell Foundation and Nutrien and will run until February 2025.
