The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is currently accepting applications from organizations in Canada who are planning and implementing anti-racism projects in 2025-2026.

The National Anti-Racism Fund has awarded nearly $7.3 million in projects funding to over 120 organizations across Canada since its launch in 2022. In the last round, 30 organizations received a total of over $2 million in funding from coast to coast, ranging from organizations that support immigrant women and children, healthy families and democratic engagement, to those that foster business and professional networks within and across communities.

NARF supports projects that help reduce systemic racism in Canada. We encourage dialogue, awareness, and collaboration between people of different backgrounds, races, and religions and back community-driven research and data that’s easy to access and use. We especially welcome projects with a public policy focus, but this is not a necessary requirement.

At a time when some are stepping back from diversity and inclusion, we’re inspired by people who are stepping up. Every day, we see individuals and organizations working hard to make their communities more fair and inclusive—and that gives me real hope. This fund supports that work. It’s a way to back bold ideas and local action that challenge racism in real, practical ways. I encourage organisations with a vision for change to apply.”  Mohammed Hashim, CEO, CRRF

Applicants seeking funding for projects that will take place between April 1, 2026, and March 31, 2027, must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 11:59 pm (EST) on August 29, 2025. Successful EOI applicants will be contacted by November 2025 and will be invited to submit full applications. Applicants will have seven weeks to submit their full application between November and December 2025 and successful grantees will be notified by early March 2026.

For those interested in learning more, please register for upcoming virtual NARF information sessions, which will be held on July 9th, 2025, at 2-3 pm EST (English) and July 10th, 2025, at 2-3 pm EST (French).
