The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF)’s National Anti-Racism Fund (NARF) for Events and Youth Initiatives is now accepting applications from organizations across Canada who are organizing anti-racism events and youth initiatives in 2026-2027.

Over the past four years, more than 700 organizations across Canada have turned ideas into action with the support of over $15 million from the National Anti-Racism Fund. In 2025, we helped 130 organizations transform their plans into impact, investing nearly $1.2 million in community events and youth initiatives.

The Events and Youth Initiative stream provides funding opportunities for organizations planning community-based, public, social, and/or learning events and activities that support the objectives of the Fund, as well as organizations that are youth-led or serve youth under 30. Eligible initiatives include conferences, summits, workshops, galas, festivals, exhibits, and reconciliation or intercultural activities.

Investing in young people is one of the most meaningful ways we can strengthen anti-racism efforts in Canada. Their ideas, leadership, and determination are helping to drive progress in communities across the country. We’re proud to support another wave of organizations and youth leaders working to create a better future for all.

Mohammed Hashim, CEO, CRRF

Applications will be accepted from June 8 to July 13th, 2026 for Events or Youth Initiatives that will take place between December 1st, 2026 and November 30th, 2027. Funding decisions for applications received by the deadline will be communicated in mid-October 2026.
