The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is once again accepting applications from organizations in Canada who are planning and implementing anti-racism projects in 2026-2027.
The best ideas for tackling racism in Canada often don’t come from the top. They come from our neighbourhoods, classrooms, and community centres. Over the past four years, the CRRF’s National Anti-Racism Fund (NARF) has helped more than 700 organizations across Canada turn their ideas into action.
NARF-supported projects help reduce systemic racism in Canada. They encourage dialogue, awareness, and collaboration between people of different backgrounds, races, and religions and back community-driven research and data that’s easy to access and use. We especially welcome projects with a public policy focus, but this is not a necessary requirement.
Communities know their challenges best, and trust solutions built by their own. That’s why the National Anti-Racism Fund supports organizations across Canada turning good ideas into real action. When communities lead, change lasts, and everyone benefits.

If your organization is looking for funding for a project running from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2028, start by submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) by 11:59 pm EST on September 2, 2026. If your EOI is successful, we’ll contact you by November 2026 and invite you to submit a full application. You’ll then have seven weeks — between November and December 2026 — to complete it. Successful applicants will hear back by early March 2027.
To learn more, please register for upcoming virtual NARF information sessions, which will be held on July 27th, 2026, at 2-3 pm EST (English) and July 30th 2026, at 2-3 pm EST (French).
