The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is pleased to announce the 130 recipients of our 2025-2026 National Anti-Racism Fund (NARF) for Events and Youth Initiatives (EYI). The organizations selected will receive nearly $1.2 million to carry out antiracism initiatives across Canada from now until September 30, 2026.
NARF Events and Youth Initiative awardees include organizations planning community‑based, public, social, or educational events across Canada. Funding also supports organizations that are youth‑led or that focus on youth under 30. Eligible initiatives may include conferences, summits, workshops, galas, festivals, exhibits, and activities that support reconciliation or intercultural exchange.
Microgrants on their own may not transform systems overnight, but they do ignite momentum by giving communities space to collaborate, experiment, raise awareness and build ideas and coalitions that work toward systemic change. This cohort of grantees is poised to turn that momentum into meaningful shifts with real staying power.
Mohammed Hashim, CEO of the CRRF
The CRRF received nearly 600 applications from across the country for the EYI stream of the NARF funding, a testament to the ongoing need for resources for crucial anti-racism work in Canada. We are grateful for the important contributions of all the applicants.
The National Anti-Racism Fund is one of the most important ways that the CRRF works to build a more equitable and inclusive Canada. Over the past four years, we have directed over $12 million to support the powerful anti-racism work of more than 700 organizations all over Canada through NARF.
The list of recipients is posted on this page.
