There has always been much discussion around the efficacy of the Employment Equity Act (EEA).  Many applaud the gains made through the Act in improving the representation of women in the workforce, but there have been many detractors in terms of how much it has advanced equity for racialized Canadians. But in the 35 years since the implementation of the Act, has it really served Black Canadian workers?  CRRF and the Canadian Labour Congress are jointly hosting an online discussion to understand the progress of the EEA and just how much further it needs to go to be inclusive Canadians of African descent.  Don’t miss out!
