Six Nations Land Claims Workshop


Join us on March 26th for a presentation on Six Nations Land Claims. Participants will learn about the Haldimand Proclamation of 1784, historical losses of both land and trust fund monies, and land claims that Six Nations of the Grand River are preparing to litigate in Canadian Courts.

The Woodland Cultural Centre was established in October 1972 under the direction of the Association of Iroquois and Allied Indians upon the closure of the Mohawk Institute Residential School. Woodland Cultural Centre serves to preserve and promote Indigenous history, art, language and culture.
