Nancy Rosenfeld

About

Nancy Rosenfeld is a strategic, creative and passionate executive. Her expansive career in public service has spanned the fields of culture, health, justice, education, community, the environment, politics and philanthropy.

As an Executive with the Bronfman Family Foundations for over 20 years, Ms. Rosenfeld co-created and launched innovative programs such as C-Vert for emerging teen environmental leaders, Semin-Arts and Post Graduate Fellowships in support of visual artists, and the ProMontreal Entrepreneur Fund. 

As a special advisor to Mayor Pierre Bourque she ensured that the special needs of the Anglophone and Ethnic Communities in Montreal were met and professionally led the committee that developed the Intercultural Policy of the City of Montreal.

She has shared her insight and expertise as a Board member of the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Foreign Relations Council of Montreal, the Centre for Israel and Jewish Advocacy, C2 Montréal, the Trans Canada Trail, the Festival TransAmériques, and Philanthropic Foundations Canada. 

Because of her devotion to women’s equality, social change and youth entrepreneurship, Ms. Rosenfeld has been asked to serve as a judge for Startupfest, the Women Deliver Social Enterprise Pitch Contest, the Bloomberg Genesis Generation Challenge and the MacArthur Foundation 100&Change Competition. 

Ms. Rosenfeld has been recognized for her exemplary contributions to Quebec and Canadian society. She was named among the Top 20 de la Diversité Media Mosaïque, and is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal, the Outstanding Service Award from the JGH Foundation and the FCJA RBC Dominion Securities Leadership Award for services to the broader community.
