Sophia Ali

Sophia Ali (she/her) is currently the Executive Director of Manitoba Alliance of Health Regulatory Colleges. Previously Sophia was the Director of Mental Health and Crisis Services at Klinic Community Health Centre. Other roles have been the Executive Director at Aulneau Renewal Centre and at Youville Centre, she was Community Development Coordinator. Her education background consists of a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from University of Manitoba, Bachelor of Social Work from University of Manitoba and a Master’s in Business Administration from Athabasca University. Sophia has over fifteen years working in community health, mental health, community development and health promotion. Sophia is also an Instructor with University of MB Extended Education, University of Winnipeg PACE program and Mohawk College. She is also a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors- Manitoba branch and a volunteer with the Manitoba Islamic Association Mental Health Initiative, and St Boniface Safe Church Committee. She is a proud mom to three girls and enjoys travelling with her family.
