The Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF) is pleased to announce the 49 recipients of our 2025-2026 National Anti-Racism Fund (NARF) for Projects. The organizations selected will receive nearly $2.5 million to carry out antiracism initiatives across Canada from now until March 31, 2027.

NARF Project grants are awarded to organizations working to reduce racism in Canada by addressing systemic barriers, promoting research and education, advancing public awareness and encouraging cultural and intercultural community building. The projects selected in this round create spaces for communities to come together, address gaps in current public policies, offer viable alternatives or solutions, or propose new public policies aimed at dismantling systemic racism.

Communities have always led the way in showing where public policy can evolve to serve them better. By resourcing those closest to the gaps, we’re supporting them to design, test, and advance the solutions that can strengthen our systems.  This is the work that moves us all forward and makes for a stronger Canada.

Mohammed Hashim, CEO, Canadian Race Relations Foundation

The CRRF received close to 1,000 Expressions of Interest from organizations across the country. This number highlights the ongoing need for funding in the anti-racism space and only represents a fraction of the many changemakers determined to build an equitable future for all in Canada.

Over the past four years, we have directed nearly $15 million to support the powerful anti-racism work of more than 700 organizations all over Canada through NARF.
